The ACEREZ consortium, which includes the ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), has been appointed Preferred Proponent to design and construct the transmission line infrastructure for the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (CWO REZ), as part of Australia’s energy transition, outlined in the NSW Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap.
The new transmission infrastructure, which will combine high-capacity transmission lines, energy hubs and related infrastructure, will enable generators such as solar and wind farms and energy storage providers in the CWO REZ to connect to the electricity grid, providing a reliable supply of clean, affordable electricity for households and businesses across NSW while helping to meet the state’s newly legislated Net Zero targets.

Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a dedicated Port to Site Logistics Coordinator to share their expertise within our growing Procurement team. The role involves overseeing transport contractors' container deliveries, unloading activities, and post-collection processes at the Port Botany terminal. Also, ensure that site deliveries to contractors' warehouses comply with national regulations and that pre-delivery procedures are followed before departing to the site.
This position will require visits to various transport companies' warehouses and/or yards across the Sydney Metropolitan Area, in addition to office duties at the project office located in Sydney's CBD.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule cartage for import ocean FCL shipments from the wharf, unpacking, reloading, and delivering to the site.
Communicate with transport providers and internal teams to manage schedules and address transport-related issues.
Have a strong understanding of Bills of Lading and shipment documentation. Ensure the accuracy of documentation, including packing lists and trailer load details.
Prepare reports on cargo movements and deliveries.
Provide documentation support to project teams and leadership.
Capture QA Images and reports
Coordinate on the ground and in office Transport Contractors including receivals, warehousing and deliveries
Coordinate all land-based activities with Global Sea Freight Coordinator
In office and site-based role
Monitor and track Contractor performance
Monitor transport safety compliance
Required Skills and Competencies:
Minimum 5 years of operational experience in the freight forwarding, supply chain, and logistics industry is required.
Experience in handling Import Sea freight, warehouse operations, and cartage.
Experience working with various transport providers.
Knowledge of paperless warehouse
Ability to engage Transport Contractors
Knowledge of the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) regulations, including load securing and compliance.
Experience with Material Handling Equipment, including forklifts and transport vehicles.
A positive, "can-do" team approach attitude, energetic, communicative and personable approach.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced Transport Administration role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other office applications.
Experience with CargoWise is preferred, but not essential.
White Card is a pre-requisite.
