Position Overview: We are looking for a Trainee Physiotherapist to join our clinic under the Training program. This role offers an 18-month structured training program to develop and enhance, practical and professional skills in physiotherapy. The successful candidate will receive hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced physiotherapists, focusing on Australian healthcare standards and evidence-based treatment practices.

Task & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to-
- Participate in an 18-month structured occupational training plan designed to enhance professional physiotherapy skills.
- Conduct supervised assessments to evaluate physical impairments, including muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests.
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans using various physiotherapy techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, hydrotherapy, dry needling, and massage.
- Educate patients on treatment options and injury prevention strategies while monitoring and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Engage in report writing, case discussions, peer learning, and policy review activities.
- Maintain patient records in line with Australian physiotherapy legal and ethical standards.
- Work alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care and contribute to community health activities.

Role Requirements:
- Availability to work Monday to Saturday.
- Availability for occasional out-of-hours work.
- Some local travel may be required.
- Participation in formal performance reviews and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience or equivalent study experience as physiotherapist.
- This position is open to Australian citizens, permanent residents, and holders of valid work visas.
- Full work rights in Australia.
- Current Police Check, DCSI clearance or equivalent.
- Professional indemnity liability insurance.
Training and Development:
- Structured 18-month training program aligned with Australian clinical competencies
- Supervised hands-on training in advanced rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and patient education
- Regular performance feedback through mentoring, workshops, and observational reviews
- Assistance toward full AHPRA general registration (if currently on limited registration)
