Task & responsibilities

• Preparing and painting both interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of techniques and materials.
• Selecting and blending suitable paints, stains, and coatings to achieve desired finishes.
• Setting up and utilizing painting tools and equipment, including sprayers, rollers, and brushes.
• Maintaining a high level of craftsmanship with keen attention to detail.
• Following safety guidelines and ensuring a clean, organized workspace.
• Coordinating with the project team to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
• Offering professional advice and recommendations to clients on color choices and application methods.
• Assembling scaffolding, positioning ladders, and using protective materials like drop sheets to prevent paint splatter.
• Applying wallpaper with precision, ensuring patterns align seamlessly and edges are neatly trimmed.

Qualification & experience

• Minimum 1 years of experience as a Painter, preferably in the commercial and residential sectors
• Certificate III in Painting or higher
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Adaptability to work in a team or independently, as required
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
