Painter

As a Painter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality painting services to residential and commercial clients throughout Brisbane. This position offers competitive rates and the opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable company in the local area.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, sanding, and priming as required
• Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other decorative finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
• Perform preparations tasks such as filling holes and cracks, sanding - preparation is key in our business.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and to the customer's satisfaction
• Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
• Comply with all health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Experience: At least 4 years of experience as a painter ideally working in the residential and commercial sectors
• Skills: Proficient in the use of painting and decorating equipment, excellent attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities
• Qualifications: A relevant trade qualification or certification in painting and decorating
• Personality: Excellent customer service skills, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Attributes: Someone who is reliable, highly skilled and highly productive with an eye for detail and takes pride in the work they produce.
