Part-time position available. 

We for an Optical Dispenser or Optical Assistant who would be excited to join a small but dynamic team in a fully independent modern optometry clinic. Prior experience is highly prefered but training is also available to the right candidate. 

Hours would likely be around 20-25hrs/week. Any needs outside of these hours can be discussed with the right candidate (more or less hours negotiable).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated person to join a dedicated small team in a family owned independent optometry practice. In our optometry practice you will have an opportunity to work closely with the customers to build strong relationships and to provide outstanding service.

More about the role:

• Assisting customers with their frame and lens selection. 

• Dispensing and ordering spectacles and contact lens jobs.

• General administrative and office duties, tending to the day to day running of the practice.

• Spectacle adjustments/ repairs and troubleshooting.

The preferred applicant will have the following skills and attributes:

• Experience in optical dispensing and/or the optical industry (highly prefered).

• Able to work and problem solve independently.

• Must be available to work Saturdays.

• Have strong computer skills.

• Have strong communication/ interpersonal skills.
