About the RoleThe OPFOR Maritime Planner will:Develop and lead OPFOR maritime campaigns across submarines, amphibious vessels, UUVs/USVs, surface/logistics platforms, and maritime militia.Execute maritime plans during Command Post Exercises (CPX) as OPFOR Maritime Domain Lead.Provide intelligence-backed analysis of adversary naval doctrine and capabilities.Operate and support JLVC simulation platforms (JSAF, JCATS, JLOD, JAWS).Coordinate with RAN, FFGD, AJAAC, MISC, and international allies on joint/combined planning.
What You BringEssential:Former RAN O3–O5 Maritime Warfare Officer, Submariner, or Intelligence OfficerOperational-level HQ planning experience in combined/joint environmentsExperience at HQJOC or Component Command levelNV2 Defence Security clearanceDesirable:Experience in JOC exercises, experimentation, or White Cell planningStrong understanding of current maritime conflicts and lessons learnedIf you’re a seasoned maritime operator or planner ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role that directly contributes to mission readiness — we want to hear from you.
