Your Team

As the Operations Performance and Data Manager you will join the Performance Insights and Effectiveness team that forms part of our Operations division. This team plays a critical role in helping Hollard achieve its strategic objectives by providing actionable insights, optimising performance, and driving continuous improvement across Operations.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Performance, Insights and Effectiveness, you will lead a small team, analysing and optimising Operations performance to drive better outcomes.

Your Role

Working closely with internal stakeholders you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in operations data, taking ownership of the operational reporting roadmap and the management of complex data analysis. You will have overall responsibility for driving the analysis, interpretation, and delivery of strategic insights and data.

Your duties and responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Data teams to ensure consistency, reliability, and alignment of business data and insights supporting operational performance

  • Facilitate communication between the Data teams and Operations to ensure timely and accurate reporting and analysis

  • Lead and manage the delivery of sophisticated data analysis to support business operations and performance improvement initiatives ensuring reports are tailored to the needs of the business unit

  • Oversee the coordination of data analysis requests from both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders outside of Operations, ensuring their data and analytics needs are addressed in a timely and efficient manner

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for data-driven insights and improvements

  • Develop and maintain a reporting framework that supports strategic decision-making across the Operations team

About You

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and experience with data visualisation and reporting tools

  • Solid understanding of data management principles and frameworks, including data integrity, security, and governance

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights

  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to approach challenges creatively and strategically

  • Proven communicator with ability to manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring collaboration and alignment across teams

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences
