OFFSIDER / TRADE ASSISTANT

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Offsider / Trade Assistant to join our team at Instant Screw Piling in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. This full-time position will support our skilled tradespeople in the installation of screw piles, providing valuable assistance and contributing to the successful delivery of our projects.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting tradespeople with the installation of screw piles, including manual handling and operating equipment

• Preparing the work site and maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment

• Transporting materials, tools and equipment to and from the work site as needed

• Performing general labouring duties to support the overall project delivery

• Adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

• Communicating effectively with the team to coordinate tasks and activities

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a labourer or trade assistant, preferably in the construction or related industry

• Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Commitment to workplace health and safety

• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to the job site
