As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the company’s administrative and operational functions. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, proven team coordination abilities, and a high level of professionalism. You will report directly to senior management and play a crucial role in supporting the business as we expand.

Task & responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the office.
- Supervise and support office staff; manage rosters, monitor performance, and coordinate team communication.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
- Handle accounts-related duties including invoice management, bill processing, and liaising with the finance team.
- Manage incoming and outgoing communication, including calls, emails, and client correspondence.
- Liaise directly with clients, suppliers, and service providers.
- Maintain office records, documentation, and ensure compliance with policies.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, and ensure the workplace is safe and functional.
- Implement and monitor company procedures and recommend improvements as needed.
- Support management with various administrative tasks and project coordination.
- Maintain compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, legislation, policies and procedures surrounding the work environment and conduct regular assessments to ensure continued compliance.
Qualification & experience
- Relevant qualification desirable but not mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an office manager or senior administrative role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Knowledge of the recycling, logistics, or manufacturing industry is a plus but not essential.
- Knowledge of additional languages is desirable
