About the role:
Europcar Australia has an exciting opportunity for a driven and passionate National Revenue Manager to lead and inspire cultural change, embedding a service based sales culture within the business.
Reporting to the Operations Director AU/NZ, this role is responsible for driving ancillary sales and NPS performance to achieve targets via engagement and training and development of the station leadership team and front counter team members. The role is on a full time basis and is based in Tullamarine, Victoria.
The National Revenue Manager will also play a central role in proactively identifying opportunity areas and developing plans to drive improvement within our major airport locations.

Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Delivery of Europcar service based sales program with location teams in conjunction with L&D Coaches, State Operations Managers and Station Managers
- Motivate and inspire location team members via focused attention on developing their service based sales techniques
- Lead by example with a hands on approach, working side by side team members on the counter, focusing on observations, providing feedback and coaching (including counter demonstrations, one on one and and group trainings)
- Ensure you support the Station leadership team to facilitate monthly goal setting and reviews for both station performance and individual team members
- Monitor performance, driving accountability with Station Leadership teams and individual team members
- Build plans with the Operations Managers and Station Leadership teams to address operational inefficiencies and support execution of plans
- Provide regular reporting and analysis regarding performance to Operations Managers, Station Leadership teams and the broader business
- Identify and develop key team members as Ancillary Sales Champions where not in place at major locations
- Provide feedback and recommendations around improvements to service based sales programs and initiatives, including content and delivery
- Partner with Learning and Development and Operations Leadership teams to coordinate training schedules
To be considered for this position you should possess:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or minimum five (5) years of experience in the car rental industry
- Experience in training and/or coaching is essential
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment would be an advantage
- Experience in the car rental or travel industry highly advantageous
- Proven ability to embrace and encourage employees to follow policies and procedures
- Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office
- Outstanding leadership and influencing abilities, complimented by people managerial skills
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Ability to analyse and interpret Company information/reports
- Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and remain focused on the best outcome
- Commercial awareness with a strong focus on achieving KPIs
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence internally and externally
- Flexibility in travelling intrastate and interstate
