The Underground Mine Surveyor is responsible for managing the underground mine and at times, the surface mining operations to ensure that all work complies with regulatory and statutory requirements. You will be responsible for engaging in safety programs and initiatives, developing and maintaining a robust survey control network (u/g & surface), maintaining and updating daily reports and the integrity of survey digital records, conducting surface set outs and pickups using GPS and UAV, conducting set outs and pickups for development, production, diamond drilling programs and sundry activities and providing EOM physical surveys and reporting.    Ideally you will be tertiary qualified in Surveying with experience in metalliferous underground mining operations.

You will need strong capabilities in Deswik software and Leica/Trimble instruments as well as a Remote Pilots Licence (RePL) and Hovermap. You will also have high-level analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to work unsupervised.
