About the role

Intuitmed Pty. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Administration team member in Craigmore, SA, on a casual or part-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to our medical practitioners, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our healthcare facility.

What you'll be doing

  • Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

  • Handling patient inquiries and providing excellent customer service

  • Assisting with the processing of third party claims and patient billing

  • Performing general office duties such as filing, photocopying and data entry

  • Collaborating with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a medical administration or similar healthcare-related role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation

  • Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health record systems

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Familiarity with medical terminology

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and requirements
