MC Local Driver - Night Shift

Collins Adelaide is looking for Local Drivers in Wingfield, Adelaide!

• Experienced MC drivers

• Full-time

• 3-5pm start time

• 11 day fortnight - Monday to Friday + alternate Saturdays each fortnight

Collins operates a large fleet of refrigerated vans and tautliners including up to B-triples, delivering both interstate linehaul services and local distribution of frozen, chilled, perishable and general goods.

 Your role will focus on local distribution and will include:

• Local pickups/deliveries

• Loading/unloading of trailers using forklift or manual pallet jack

• Moving trailers across depot yard, either with a prime mover or tug

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 2+ years of MC driving experience 

• Current MC licence

• Ability to reverse B-Doubles/B-triples into loading docks 

• Ability to couple/uncouple trailers 

• Current Forklift Licence

• Experience with accurate completion of freight and heavy vehicle paperwork 

• Experience with multidrop pick-up/delivery

• Experience driving B-triples or road trains (preferred) 

• Experience with refrigerated transport (preferred)
