We have an exciting opportunity to work at Box Hill Institute as our Manager Business Administration & Space Planning. This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity based at our Box Hill Campus. This position reports directly to the Director Infrastructure, and sits within the Infrastructure work area of the Chief Operating Officer division.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for managing high level administrative processes for the infrastructure team and space management and timetabling across BHI.
  • Take a lead role in producing board papers and reports, with a deep understanding of executive level requirements
  • Responsible for managing leasing arrangements for BHI spaces and leases where BHI is the tenant.
  • Lead the Business Administration and Space Planning team, managing, supporting and mentoring employees within the team.
  • Works collaboratively across the whole Infrastructure team as well as other internal and external stakeholders, including, contractors, and consultants, to ensure quality outcomes are achieved

  • Demonstrated experience in monitoring budgets and financial systems, work order systems, along with proven ability to anticipate and manage risk and resources.
  • Victorian Working with Children Check clearance
  • National Police Check clearance

Qualifications and experience:

  • A degree in Business, Business Administration, Management or equivalent extensive experience in related fields as an Office Manager.
  • Understanding of timetabling and leasing/property management would be highly regarded or willingness to undertake training in these areas.
  • Logistical and analytical thinking to produce complex special arrangements
  • Extensive experience in managing space and timetabling services and the ability to prepare high quality plans and reports.
  • Experience working in a large and complex organisation.
  • Ability to prepare executive level briefing documentations and reporting
  • Proven expertise in quality management and continuous improvement and a track record of success in partnering with clients to achieve successful outcomes and best practice service delivery.
