We are seeking a versatile and analytical Consultant to join our team. This role focuses on diagnosing and improving business performance through data-driven insights and operational process analysis. You will work directly with clients to understand their workflows, assess current challenges, uncover root causes, and support the implementation of practical solutions. Your ability to shift between strategic thinking and hands-on delivery will be critical to success. You’ll contribute to diverse projects—ranging from service improvements to business transformations—and play a key role in strengthening our delivery capabilities and internal systems. This is a full-time position with annual earnings between $85,000 to $110,000 plus superannuation on offer (depending on skills and experience).

Task & responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project leads and Directors to design and deliver business improvement programs.
  • Evaluate client workflows and operational processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Collect, interpret, and analyse data to uncover trends, issues, and opportunities for change.
  • Develop practical, data-backed recommendations to improve service delivery and operational performance.
  • Support the implementation of recommendations, including staff engagement, training, and performance tracking.
  • Present findings and improvement strategies clearly and confidently to clients and stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to refine consulting tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Support business development activities by contributing to proposals and participating in client discussions.
  • Continuously seek ways to evolve our service offering and create more value for clients.

Qualification & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, analytics, or a related field
  • Proven minimum 1 year experience in consulting, business improvement, or a similar client-facing role
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful insights
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal—able to influence and engage diverse audiences
  • Versatile problem-solver who can shift between big-picture thinking and detailed execution
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and in teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with practical experience using Power BI or similar tools
  • Exposure to service design, process improvement, or change management is an advantage
