Maintenance Electrician

We are a manufacturing and supply company with a Head Office based in Yatala, QLD and a distribution hub in NSW. The company is a leading manufacturer and supplier of connection systems and apparatus for LV and MV overhead and underground distribution networks. The company also supplies safety, personal protection, portable safety earthing systems for distribution and transmission lines, and manufactures connection systems and apparatus specifically designed for the Industrial, Solar and Commercial markets. 

We are looking to employ experience and trade qualified Maintenance Electricians for our manufacturing plant based in Yatala.  These are permanent full time roles.  Potential afternoon shifts and overtime may be available during peak periods.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:

Control panel construction and maintenance including PLC

• Servo and 3 phase motor control
• Pneumatic and hydraulic circuits on automated machinery

The successful candidate will require the following attributes:

• Electrical trade qualification with all current certificate
• PLC diagnostic and programming skills essential
• Extensive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment working with automated machinery
• Computer literate
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Some mechanical ability such as mill, lathe or fabrication an advantage
• Demonstrate a positive, proactive and motivated attitude to work
• Physically fit with the ability to work effectively in a multi-skilled environment
• You will have extensive experience conducting breakdown and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing environment
