Help Shape the Future of WHS Training!

Are you an L&D specialist with a passion for compliance, workplace safety, and e-learning effectiveness? We are looking for an experienced Learning & Development Consultant to lead a comprehensive audit of our Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) training programs.

In this role, you will assess, refine, and optimise our online compliance training programs to ensure they meet legal standards, industry best practices, and internal learning objectives. Your insights will drive meaningful improvements in how we educate and protect our workforce.

This role is a 3-4 month contract position with the possibility for extension.

What You’ll Be Doing:

✅ Audit & Assess: Conduct a thorough review of our online WHS compliance training and identify opportunities for improvement.

✅ Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with employees, volunteers, and board members to understand training gaps and future needs.

✅ Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all WHS training programs align with regulatory requirements and industry benchmarks.

✅ Technology & Reporting: Evaluate the effectiveness of current learning platforms and their reporting mechanisms.

✅ Strategic Recommendations: Deliver a detailed report outlining key findings, training gaps, and improvement strategies.

✅ Scalable Solutions: Propose cost-effective and scalable learning technologies, tools, or service providers.

✅ Implementation Roadmap: Develop a structured plan with timelines, costs, and risk considerations for adopting new L&D solutions.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in L&D consulting, particularly in auditing and assessing learning programs.
  • Expertise in compliance training, WHS requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Understanding of learning technologies and online training platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups, from employees to board members.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Deep knowledge of industry best practices in workplace learning, compliance training, and e-learning strategy.

Preferred Qualifications:

✔️ Relevant experience or qualifications in L&D, HR, Education, or Compliance Training.

✔️ Experience in Not-For-Profit or public sector environments is highly valued.

✔️ Certifications in instructional design, training evaluation, or e-learning technologies are a plus.
