Our two manufacturing sites are located close to some of the best plantation pine resources in the world - Bell Bay in Tasmania & Tarpeena in South Australia. Our fit-for-purpose indoor and outdoor plantation pine products are suitable for building new homes, renovation projects and other industrial manufacturing applications including packaging, pallets, and furniture components.

About the Role

Are you passionate about creating long-term growth through learning and development?

We’re looking for a learning and development leader to, build on strong foundations, and shape the next evolution of our L&D strategy across the business. Reporting to the GM of HR, leading a small team, you’ll work closely with our manufacturing sites and HR manager to turn the strategy into action, building technical capability, strengthening leadership and supporting individuals & teams to thrive.

Every day is different here. As a manufacturing business our training needs are diverse, so you’ll need to be hands on, adaptable and ready to make a real impact where it matters most.

Key Projects in the next 12 months include, but are not limited to:

  • Development of the FY26 L&D plan on a page based on the People Strategy

  • Career Pathways across critical roles in manufacturing

  • Design and implementation of new leadership assessment tools for ‘Ready Now’.

  • Delivery of our leadership programs

  • LMS (Litmos) Integration with our new HRIS

  • Embedding our Sales Excellence program

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A passion for learning and experience in a similar role

  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing an organisational L&D strategy

  • A Background in manufacturing highly desirable

  • Strong IT systems experience (Litmos / HRIS), online learning systems, reporting, data management and analysis

  • Project management skills with the ability to plan, implement, monitor, communicate, review and update stakeholders
