What's so exciting about this role?

The Key Account Manager sits within Revenue and Growth of the Consumer team at Humm. We own the merchant lifecycle from enquiry, through early life hyper care and ongoing management to maximise revenue potentials. We have this segmented into 4 core areas of Business Development, Activation, Growth and Strategic accounts. In this role you will grow your allocated portfolio by managing Tier 2 accounts through account management and business development.

You have end-to-end responsibility for your area of focus, including revenue generation, oversight of profitability and compliance.

What Does An Average Day Look Like?

No day is average at humm but here's an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:

  • Build and strengthen relationships with franchise and retail partners to grow our market share and expand business opportunities within your territory
  • Ensure exceptional account management by providing outstanding face to face support, addressing concerns, training, and delivering customized solutions
  • Identify additional revenue streams within existing partner accounts and drive these opportunities forward
  • Execute sales and marketing strategies for your portfolio, aligning them with the company's growth objectives
  • Work closely with partners to co-create campaigns and initiatives that enhance sales and maximize their return on investment

  • Proven track record in B2B or B2B2C account or key account management, experience within large franchise or retail groups is highly regarded
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Adept at executing growth strategies to drive revenue within established accounts
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented and organised, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
