The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive to join our Nestlé Independents team, working across our big brands and preferably based in Sydney. Reporting directly to the Customer Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the executional plans.


A day in the Life…


  • Assist in managing the promotional plans in the independents channel, including managing digital assets, activations, and overseeing promotional activities.
  • Assist in the launching of NPD, Activations, and Price Changes in the independents channel.
  • Assist in developing comprehensive omni-channel plans for the year, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive brand visibility and customer engagement across all channels.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders the independents channel, understanding their business objectives, anticipating their needs, and identifying opportunities for collaboration and growth.
  • Build strong relationships with the field and field planning teams.


What will make you successful:


  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or similar role in the FMCG industry.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making. Experience with Circana/Synergy would be preferable. Must be well-skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills – be able to prioritise workload and meet all deadlines.
  • Natural collaborator, with a positive proactive mindset.
  • Confident, self-starterm keen to learn and grow. Demonstrates comfort in presenting and articulating ideas during meetings, effectively leading the agendas for Drakes, Foodland, Romeo’s, TIR, and IG NT.
