Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Night Auditor to play a key role in Front Office operations at night time.You will be responsible for assisting the night operations of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, and leading a team of dedicated staff members. You will be working with a night team, (Night Manager, & Night Auditor).
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Handle any issues or emergencies that arise, such as guest complaints, maintenance problems, or security concerns.
Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
Handle late check-ins and early check-outs.
Ensure that guest requests and wake-up calls are handled efficiently.
Conduct night audits to ensure all financial transactions are accurate and accounted for.
Reconcile daily revenues, prepare financial reports, and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Monitor security systems and conduct regular checks throughout the property.
Respond to and manage emergency situations, such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security breaches.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
Develop and implement SOPs to ensure smooth night operations and exceptional guest service.
Prepare and submit shift reports detailing any incidents, guest feedback, and operational issues.
Communicate effectively with the day management team to ensure continuity and address any ongoing issues.
Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
Previous min 2 years' experience in Night operations role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
The flexibility to work overnights from 11pm to 7am, including public holidays and weekends
A current First Aid Certificate and RSA Qualification
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
