IT Support Officer Level 2 - 3

AUS Fleet Solutions is a professional and successful group of 6 businesses that offers employees a challenging and enjoyable working environment. We are currently looking to grow our IT team by employing a friendly and detail oriented IT Support Officer Level 2 - 3. 

The IT Support Officer is responsible for level two and three IT service requests across the AUS Fleet Solutions (AFS) group. These tasks include ensuring the smooth operation of the IT systems to provide maximum performance and availability for users.

The role will require a close working relationship with the IT Manager and team, especially if there are major issues, new software or systems to test.  The IT Support Officer will work closely with other business stakeholders to resolve their day-to-day issues as directed by the IT Manager.

This role also requires skills in strategic thinking and decision-making along with good communication skills and relationship building.

You will be required to;

• Provide level two and three IT support to all AFS staff

• Maintaining a high level of communication on the telephone and face-to-face with customers, suppliers and staff to ensure they are left with a positive experience

• Manage the help desk system to control the IT requests within AFS. This will include the initial logging of the service request and escalation as required with key support vendors

• Power BI and SQL tasks as requested by IT Manager. Support of various Microsoft products such as Windows Server, Windows Desktop and Office

• The support of hardware and software for Dell devices and applications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Industry Certification

• 3 years’ experience in an IT support role

• Microsoft 11 OS and server 2019-2022 specifically AD, Group Policy and NTFS permissions

• Microsoft Office 365 specifically SharePoint and OneDrive

• Azure, VM management, Virtual Desktop, Storage Management, backup and Entra ID

• Microsoft Intune, App Deployment, Device Configuration and Endpoint Security

• Microsoft SQL Server and Language

• Proven success in troubleshooting

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• A high level of initiative, enthusiasm and motivation

• Very high attention to detail

• WA Drivers Licence
