Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate IT Intern to join our dynamic team in developing a next-generation carbon accounting tool. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to work on the implementation of this tool using Azure, integrating data from a variety of IoT devices and APIs, and contributing to our mission of supporting businesses in reducing their carbon footprint.
Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development and implementation of a carbon accounting tool hosted on Azure.Integrate data from APIs and IoT devices to enhance real-time data reporting and tracking for carbon emissions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate collection and analysis of environmental data.Work with cloud-based technologies and contribute to the optimization and scalability of the tool.Assist with documentation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure system integrity and reliability.Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud technologies, IoT, and carbon accounting practices.
What You Will Learn:Hands-on experience with cloud-based development on Azure.Exposure to IoT integration and data-driven environmental solutions.Experience in building real-time data tools and applications.Insight into carbon accounting and sustainability in the energy sector.
Qualifications:Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.Experience with API integrations and working with IoT devices.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.A passion for sustainability and environmental impact.Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
