Join icon fashion house Aje as International Wholesale Executive reporting to our Head of International Wholesale at our Aje Head Office in Redfern.

  • Support & manage the international sales strategy, process and appointments for each of the brand’s collections per year, providing impeccable service, organisation, team unison and brand representation.
  • Identify and research new international markets, opportunities and target partners.
  • Seek out and plan additional sales opportunities such as exclusives, capsules and marketing projects and support the wholesale team to execute on these opportunities, including strategically targeting new accounts.
  • Manage and grow relationships with international wholesale partners and key accounts.
  • Conduct seasonal showrooms, either in person or virtually, presenting collections and driving orders.
  • Meet or exceed seasonal and annual sales targets for assigned markets.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules with wholesale partners.
  • Monitor sell-through performance and collaborate with partners to maximize product sell-in and sell-out.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate with the wider business to ensure alignment around shared goals, targets, expectations and wider business objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to lead business improvement projects within your function.
  • Ensure line sheets, lookbooks and order forms are delivered on time and accurately.
  • Organize and attend partner training sessions.
  • Drive in-season orders and swaps to reach sales targets and support brand sell-through.
  • Coordinate with internal logistics and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day relationships with accounts, ensuring you provide consistent, excellent service.
  • Work closely with each account to facilitate all issues, find solutions to concerns and problems and consult as needed.
KEY SKILLS
  • 4+ years’ experience managing key international fashion/retail accounts.
  • Demonstrated business and commercial acumen with the ability to successfully analyse product categories and make strategic, data-informed decisions.
  • Present as highly organised, detail-oriented and able to prioritise and manage time.
  • Hold strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships on a global scale as well as cross-functionally.
  • Hold the demonstrated ability to improve process efficiencies, effectiveness and/or communication.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
  • Present as a creative thinker who is solutions-oriented and a proactive problem solver when faced with difficult business performance or challenging directives.
  • Demonstrate a highly analytical nature with a detail and result-oriented bent. Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience working in a high-performance, high-growth retail environment is preferable.
  • Ability to travel to international markets regularly.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
  • Successfully support the International Wholesale team to achieve sale targets seasonally, including meeting key seasonal stockists’ growth, new target accounts each season, margin targets and accuracy targets across delivery schedules.
  • Ensure that in-season reorders are actively pursued and achieved.
  • Actively seek new opportunities to drive sales and brand visibility.
  • Ensure that the business has full and clear visibility on the state of play of International wholesale business as and when needed, using information generated by reporting to develop the wholesale business positively.
