What the role looks like

Reporting to the Team Leader Insurance & Claims, you will: 
  • Provide compassionate, professional, informed, and efficient “end to end” insurance and claims services to our members, their beneficiaries and other claimants. 
  • Complete specialist administrative tasks relating to Death, TPD and Income Protection claims. 
  • Support members through their application by providing accurate, timely responses to enquiries both internal and external. 
  • Receive inbound and make outbound calls relating to claims and death benefit assessments. 
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure our member’s requirements are met.   
Who Are We Looking For? 
We’re on the lookout for passionate individuals who embody our values. If you have the following, we want to hear from you:  
  • Experience within the Superannuation Industry.  
  • Great customer service skills. 
  • Insurance experience particularly with exposure to Death, TPD and IP claims. 
  • Strong administration skills.  
  • A strong team ethic.  
  • Experience liaising with insurers.  
  • The ability to assess the correct cover based on eligibility requirements and business rules. 
  • The ability to handle difficult situations in a calm and positive manner. 
  • Relevant industry or tertiary qualifications. 
  • A zest for making a positive impact. 
  • An eagerness to learn and grow.
