The HMA Group of Companies manufactures, sells, and services a wide range of capital plant equipment to a diverse range of industries, including oil & gas, petrochemical, mineral processing, water management and power generation.
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Instrumentation and Analyser Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for commissioning, calibration, and maintenance of various instrumentation products including; Pressure Gauges, Analysers (physical properties), Oil in Water Monitors, Flow Meters, Mechanical Thermal Expansion Joints and Pressure/Level/Temperature Transmitters, Fire & Gas Detection and Boiler Control Systems.
HMA operates a NATA certified Pressure Calibration Laboratory, the ideal candidate with have prior experience with NATA and ISO9001 quality processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform and oversee the calibration of various types of instrumentation, including mechanical and electronic pressure and vacuum gauges.
Maintain accurate records of calibration, maintenance, and testing activities, including issuing certificates and reports in line with NATA standards.
Commission, diagnose and resolve technical issues with pressure instruments, Analysers and Flow Meters.
Site Support for all HMA products.
Willing to travel to customer sites locally, Interstate, Internationally and Offshore.
Build rapport and develop a professional relationship with internal and external clients.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist with the development of standard operating procedures.
Work together with Product Managers, Division Manager and General Manager to determine sales and marketing strategy for the territory.
The ideal candidate will have:
Relevant Degree, Diploma, or Trade (Instrumentation, Electrical, Process, Chemical, etc).
Hands-on experience with a variety of instrumentation, including temperature, pressure, flow, level, and analytical instruments.
High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
Proficient in the use of calibration tools, software, and measurement equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently .
Minimum 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
