About the Opportunity
Working as Dual Skilled NACE/CSWIP Inspector you’ll be supporting welding, coating, and insulation inspection activities onboard the Shell Prelude project.
The role operates on a 3x3 roster and forms part of our core QA/QC function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all works meet project specifications and client quality standards across multiple disciplines.
Your day-to-day includes:
Conducting welding inspections in line with ITPs and applicable standards (ASME, AWS, etc.)
Performing coating inspections, including surface preparation checks, DFT readings, and adhesion testing
Overseeing insulation activities to ensure compliance with thermal and cryogenic specifications
Compiling inspection records and reports, managing punch lists, and supporting close-out activities
Coordinating with engineering, supervision, and client representatives to resolve quality issues proactively
Supporting HSE initiatives and promoting a culture of quality and safety on site
About you
Dual-ticketed with valid CSWIP 3.1 and NACE Level 2 (or equivalent) certifications
Proven experience in an offshore QA/QC role across welding, coatings, and insulation scopes
Strong understanding of international standards, QA/QC documentation, and inspection techniques
Willingness to take on a variety of tasks, including both on-site inspections and off-site support as required
Disciplined and assertive, yet approachable – capable of mentoring less experienced workers and holding them accountable to quality expectations
