About the Opportunity

Working as Dual Skilled NACE/CSWIP Inspector you’ll be supporting welding, coating, and insulation inspection activities onboard the Shell Prelude project.

The role operates on a 3x3 roster and forms part of our core QA/QC function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all works meet project specifications and client quality standards across multiple disciplines.

Your day-to-day includes:

• Conducting welding inspections in line with ITPs and applicable standards (ASME, AWS, etc.)

• Performing coating inspections, including surface preparation checks, DFT readings, and adhesion testing

• Overseeing insulation activities to ensure compliance with thermal and cryogenic specifications

• Compiling inspection records and reports, managing punch lists, and supporting close-out activities

• Coordinating with engineering, supervision, and client representatives to resolve quality issues proactively

• Supporting HSE initiatives and promoting a culture of quality and safety on site

About you

• Dual-ticketed with valid CSWIP 3.1 and NACE Level 2 (or equivalent) certifications

• Proven experience in an offshore QA/QC role across welding, coatings, and insulation scopes

• Strong understanding of international standards, QA/QC documentation, and inspection techniques

• Willingness to take on a variety of tasks, including both on-site inspections and off-site support as required

• Disciplined and assertive, yet approachable – capable of mentoring less experienced workers and holding them accountable to quality expectations
