We have an exciting opportunity to work at Box Hill Institute as our Infrastructure Administrator. This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity based at our Box Hill Campus. This position reports directly to the Manager Business Administration & Space Planning, and sits within the Infrastructure work area of the Chief Operating Officer division.

What you'll do:

  • Provide Infrastructure Customer Service and first point of contact for BHI students, employees and contractors
  • Support administrative requirements of the Infrastructure Team
  • Ensure Timetabling support is provided to Faculty and Students
  • Optimise the use of space throughout BHI
  • Apply continuous improvement to the technology, systems and processes that support the work of the Infrastructure Team
  • Ensure accurate and timely records are maintained
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with all Infrastructure team members and other internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications and experience:

  • Relevant Degree with work experience in timetabling coordination and administration within a service-oriented environment, or a suitable combination of lesser qualifications and significant relevant experience.
  • Significant experience in timetabling using timetabling software such as Celcat
  • Experience in providing high-level customer care in an administrative role
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders and analyse issues from different perspectives and recommend workable solutions to problems
  • High level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing high quality, accurate correspondence and reports to stakeholders
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications for a range of tasks including but not limited to, generating letters, reports and database management (intermediate to advanced)
