My client is a leading industrial packaging company operating on the East Coast of Australia and is part of a global organisation.

It designs and manufactures bespoke solutions for packing and transport applications.

Right now there is an exciting opportunity for an industrial packaging coordinator to join the product management team based in Erskine Park.

In this role you will:

• Provide support to the sales team by recommending appropriate packaging solutions.

• Estimating and quoting from standard designs.

• Develop prototypes for customer approval.

• Develop cost estimates and bills of materials.

• Coordinate with production to ensure packaging solutions align with manufacturing capability.

• Be part of a small dynamic product management team.

This role would suit someone already working in a similar role but we will also consider applications from technically orientated customer service officers looking to broaden their skill sets.  Candidates working in the transport industry with knowledge of packing requirements are also encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Good customer service and collaboration skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Good time management skills

• Basic to intermediate MS office skills.

As an added incentive, you will be trained in basic AutoCAD and Solidworks.
