The role Reporting to the ICT Business Analysis Team Leader, we are seeking an ICT Senior Business Analyst who can bring their skills and experience to:Act as a strategic liaison between ICT and stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technology solutions, systems, and services, and to conduct in-depth investigations to understand business processes, practices, and technology needs with Council stakeholders.Employ advanced business and systems analysis methods, tools, and techniques, selecting from predictive (plan-driven) or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches as appropriate.Support Solution Architects and Technical Leads in assessing the current technology ecosystem, designing, and developing new digital solutions, and integrating software and hardware to fit the existing enterprise environment to address the current and future requirements of the Council; analysis of their impact on the overall Council goals and outcomes (technological and organisational)
To be considered you will have:Substantial experience working (7+ years) across all business analysis knowledge area, incl gathering, analysing, managing, and documenting business requirements leading to successful design and implementation of ICT solutions.Experience with Project Management tools and application lifecycle management tools.Experience with process modelling and improvement, and experience in Process Modelling Standards (BPMN) and use of MS Visio or equivalent process modelling software.Local government experience is desirable.
