Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance (QA) plans, policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across ICT systems, software, and environments
  • Conduct comprehensive audits and assessments of systems and infrastructure to identify non-compliance with QA standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation frameworks
  • Design, execute, and oversee both manual and automated tests to validate system functionality, security, and performance
  • Identify and analyze quality issues, develop corrective action strategies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, infrastructure engineers, and project managers, to ensure adherence to QA best practices throughout the development lifecycle
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and issue tracking reports
  • Monitor quality metrics and system performance trends to inform decision-making and risk mitigation strategies
  • May provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to QA team members, promoting adherence to standardized procedures and fostering professional development

Reporting:

The ICT Quality Assurance Engineer reports directly to the Manager.

Working Hours:

Full-time role: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

Experience:

At least 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, system testing, or a similar role may be accepted in lieu of formal qualifications

Required Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes across software and infrastructure environments
  • Proficiency with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
  • Knowledge of system and software compliance standards, such as ISO 9001, ITIL, or other regulatory frameworks
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
  • Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent are highly desirable

  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, secure, and compliant ICT systems
  • Proactively identify and resolve quality issues, reducing defect rates and improving system stability
  • Maintain thorough QA documentation and uphold industry standards across all QA activities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance software and infrastructure reliability
