Hygienist / Oral Health Therapist – Maternity Leave Cover
Location: NDC South Terrace | Adelaide CBD
Duration: 12-month contract | Starting July
Days:

  • Monday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

  • Tuesday: 10:00am – 7:00pm

  • Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

  • Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

About the Practice

Our beautiful 4-chair NDC South Terrace clinic is centrally located in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD and is home to a strong and supportive team culture. With a well-established hygiene department and modern facilities, we are now looking for a caring and professional Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist to join us for a 12-month maternity leave cover. You’ll be joining a close-knit team of experienced clinicians, with a Practice Manager who’s been with the team for over 6 years, and supported by the latest dental technology.

Software: Dental 4 Windows
Equipment: Digital X-rays, rotary handpieces, intra-oral cameras
Services Provided: General Dentistry, Preventive Care, Kids Dentistry, Whitening, Restorative

About the Role

As an experienced Hygienist/OHT, you’ll work closely with our dentists to deliver a full scope of oral health care – from diagnosis and treatment to education and prevention. You’ll have autonomy in your day, with full books and the support of a well-trained practice team. This is a great opportunity to further develop your clinical skills while enjoying the flexibility and community of a long-standing clinic.

Skills & Experience

You have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist

  • High clinical standards and the ability to work independently (without DA support)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proven ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
