HR Job duties:Maintain employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change dataMaintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information confidentialMaintain quality service by following organisation standards, policies and proceduresWrite contracts for promotions, transfers, and new hires in collaboration with department managementWrite letters facilitating redundancies, terminations and warnings in collaboration with department managementProvide input on workforce and succession planning as well as department restructures and other strategic HR decisionsMaintain awareness of the culture, plans and budgets of individual departmentsAssist to mediate and resolve employee relations issues & conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessaryFind ways to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retentionEnsure regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day management of employeesInterpret human resources policy to employees and managementManage job postings, candidate communication, and interview processes, including offer letters and salary negotiationsFacilitate employment inductions and coordinate pre-employment medicals where applicableAdditional responsibilities as required by the company
Skills required for the position:Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor in Human Resources, Law, Workplace Relations, or a similar competency; and/or Certified Human Resources Professional (AHRI)Hands-on experience in working as an HR Generalist idealAbility to develop and nurture relationships/partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholdersAttention to detail and a high level of organisational skill is crucial
