OneSchool Global Sydney is seeking a committed and ethical individual to serve as HSC Presiding Officer for the 2025 HSC examination period and beyond. This key role ensures the secure, smooth, and compliant administration of the Higher School Certificate (HSC) exams at the school.

The successful candidate will manage the full HSC examination process, supervise a team of exam supervisors, and uphold the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality as mandated by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).

• Exam Period: Thursday, 16 October to Friday, 7 November 2025

• Pre-exam preparation: Commences up to 3 weeks before the first exam

• Post-exam follow-up: Up to 1 week following the final exam

Key Responsibilities

Examination Set-Up and Coordination

  • Organise and prepare exam venues in accordance with security, safety, and accessibility guidelines

  • Manage secure collection, storage, and return of exam papers and materials

  • Coordinate seating arrangements, signage, and special provisions

Exam Security and Compliance

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all exam materials and student information

  • Enforce NESA protocols to prevent malpractice, including misconduct or cheating

  • Ensure compliance with OneSchool and NESA policies, including emergency and child protection procedures

Disability Provisions

  • Oversee the appropriate implementation of disability provisions for eligible students

  • Liaise with staff to ensure equitable support is provided

Communication and Reporting

  • Act as the primary liaison between OneSchool Global and NESA throughout the exam period

  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and daily operations

  • Report any irregularities or issues to NESA and the Deputy Campus Principal

Essential Requirements

  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment

  • Access to a private vehicle with comprehensive car insurance

  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication

  • Ability to use NESA's online portal and follow digital procedures

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Physically capable of lifting and transporting exam materials, and standing for extended periods
