HR Job duties:
Maintain employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data
Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information confidential
Maintain quality service by following organization standards, policies and procedures
Write contracts for promotions, transfers, and new hires in collaboration with department management
Write letters facilitating redundancies, terminations and warnings in collaboration with department management
Provide input on workforce and succession planning as well as department restructures and other strategic HR decisions
Maintain awareness of the culture, plans and budgets of individual departments
Assist to mediate and resolve employee relations issues & conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary
Find ways to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention
Ensure regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day management of employees
Interpret human resources policy to employees and management
Manage job postings, candidate communication, and interview processes, including offer letters and salary negotiations
Facilitate employment inductions and coordinate pre-employment medicals where applicable
Additional responsibilities as required by the company
Skills required for the position:
Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor in Human Resources, Law, Workplace Relations, or a similar competency; and/or Certified Human Resources Professional (AHRI)
Hands-on experience in working as an HR Generalist ideal
Ability to develop and nurture relationships/partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders
Attention to detail and a high level of organizational skill is crucial
Valid Australian Driver's license essential.
