We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team. You will do housekeeping and basic maintenance for the premises as well as providing any necessary support for the guests, you will also be required to communicate to relevant agencies that we work with. The job is a set weekly contract and will require someone who can work on a flexible schedule and manage their day efficiently.

About our guests:
Our clients are experiencing homelessness due to a number of reasons and we are there to support their accommodation needs to get them back on their feet. The goal is to provide them with a safe and comfortable space to rejuvenate and figure out their next steps. This clientele can present challenges and hence we require someone who is calm and can manage a variety of personalities.
About you:
- A genuine love for helping others and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- You are a local living in Sydney, specifically in Greystanes, Guildford, Merrylands, or nearby areas
- Own transportation
- Available after hours for late check-ins and to respond to any urgent issues.
- Strong communication skills
About the role :
- Manage check in’s and check outs. Communicate to guests our expectations and the rules of the property.
- Daily check in with guests to ensure they have a safe and comfortable stay.
- Housekeeping of units. Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and removing all rubbish. You will be supported by other housekeepers if the workload is high.
- General maintenance (if handyman is not available that day). Identify and report maintenance issues and completing any necessary basic maintenance required.
- After-hours support/response to any incidents (this is limited and is not very frequent).
To excel in this job you will need to be compassionate, patient, be able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations. Good communication skills is a must.
