About The Role As a Hospital Pharmacy Technician, you will be working with a multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical pharmacy services to both hospital inpatients and retail customers. Ensuring that all pharmacy activities are completed to a high standard while supporting the quality use of medicines - your responsibilities include: Assist patients in our front of shopDispense and supply medication, pharmacy products and OTC productsInventory control and managementWard imprestProcess sales transactions and assist with account queriesEnsure patients and nursing staff receive the correct medicationSupport patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees This is a permanent part-time position, working 36 hours per fortnight, with additional weekend shifts also being available, depending on the needs of the business. The roster will be as follows: Thursday 7:00am – 4:00pm Friday 9:00am – 7:00pm Additional weekend hours (as needed): Saturday 7:00am – 12:00pm Sunday 8:30am – 11:30am Pharmacy operating hours are 7:00am – 7:00pm on weekdays, and 7:00am – 1:00pm on weekends and public holidays.
