High Reach Forklift Operator

Bluestar Global Logistics is an Australian owned National Company specialising in express interstate/intrastate transport, warehousing and global distribution. Our ethos of Integrity, Honesty and Trust shape our decisions and dictate the relationships we have with our customers.

We are seeking casual forklift operators, preferably with high-reach experience, to work on the morning and afternoon shift in our warehousing department in Somerton, Victoria. The hours are generally Day shift 6am -2:06pm and Afternoon shift 2pm - 10:06pm.

 Job tasks and responsibilities

Working with the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for the daily completion of all warehousing tasks for Bluestar's customers. Your roles will include:

• Low level order picking

• Reach/forklift operation

• Accurate order pick, pack & dispatch

• Stock receive and put away

• Wrapping pallets

• Container unloads

• Order Checking

• Scanning

 Skills and experience

Candidates must be qualified and experienced in the operation of forklifts, preferably high-reach. Ideally you will also have experience in RF scanning but full training will be provided.

Other attributes required to be successful in this role:

• high attention to detail and accuracy in work

• demonstrated punctuality and reliability

• physically capable of manual handling up to 20kgs

• strong communication skills both written and verbal

You must be computer literate and able to work to a high degree of accuracy with warehouse management systems.
