Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has a forecasted 10+ year mine life producing over 200,000 Au Ozs for the first five years of production. Construction of the mill has recently been completed, with first gold pour completed in CY Q4 2023.
Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks the project in advance of underground production. The operation is an industry stand out with strong financial and ESG metrics underpinned by the exceptional grade of the project.
The Bellevue Gold Project is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and development of major gold mines.

You will be responsible for providing remote and on-ground support in ensuring the protection of cultural heritage, compliance with applicable legislation and agreements and engagement with native title holders.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Heritage:
- Assist in the successful implementation of the Native Title Agreement and Cultural Heritage Management Plan (CHMP).
- Manage compliance with all obligations under the Native Title Agreement and CHMP.
- Conduct audits of processes implemented under Native Title Agreements, develop and implement improvement plans.
- Manage reporting and notification requirements under the Native Title Agreement and CHMP.
- Prepare documentation required to be prepared under the Native Tile Agreement and CHMP.
- Provide guidance and education to all staff on day-to-day cultural heritage management requirements.
- Register and update information in GIS databases relating to the CHMP.
- Management of all ground disturbance in relation to heritage areas identified in the CHMP.
- Develop and maintain good relations with Traditional Owner Groups and other stakeholders.
- Organise and coordinate on country meetings, heritage surveys and ceremonies with the heritage group.
- Organise heritage surveys and regional support (i.e. travel, ATO forms, Traditional Owner payments).
- Be point of contact to build relationships and liaise and consult with relevant stakeholders (including Native Title Parties, Traditional Owner Groups, Heritage Consultants, National Indigenous Australians Agency, Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety, underlying land holders, Department of Water and Environmental Regulation and Main Roads).
- Review, development and management of heritage policy and procedures.
- Frequent Site Travel.
Community;
- Developing and implementing strategy with relation to stakeholder engagement, community relations and native title management.
- Developing and maintaining Local Indigenous Employment and Business Strategies, ensuring delivery of objectives.
- Developing, implementing and executing community involvement initiatives.
- Overseeing the cultural heritage requirements and obligations through ongoing engagement with community relations personnel/groups.
- Overseeing the Aboriginal trainee program.
- Frequent site travel.
Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience/Competencies:
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications, or considerable experience in a similar role.
- Highly skilled written and verbal communication, literacy, numeracy and presentation skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of GIS tools and systems (in particularly QGIS).
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines and independently.
- Experience with Aboriginal community engagement.
- Experience in working with relevant Government Departments.
- Experience with, and strong understanding of, Heritage and Native Title legislation.
- Ability to independently develop and implement management strategies.
