About the Medical Record Service
The Medical Record Service team is part of the broader Health Information Services department, which includes the Clinical Coding Service, Submissions Services, Corporate Records Service and Medical Record Services.
It is a busy 24 hour service that plays a crucial role in the management, organisation, and dissemination of health-related data and information. It is critical this information is available to the right people and teams to deliver care to our patients, support our clinicians and external care providers.
About the role
As a Health Information Services Clerk, you will be involved in collating, preparing and scanning patient information to make it available for patient care. You will have the opportunity to interact with both internal departments and authorised external parties. You will also be involved in release of patient information to external healthcare providers in accordance with our release of information policy. Working with our Team to support patient care by making patient information available either by scanning paper documents or responding to requests for information from external organisations.
Weekend work is required. Some travel to other campuses is also required.
Shift pattern is:
Week 1: Mon 12pm-8pm, Tue 12pm-8pm
Week 2: Wed 12pm-8pm, Thur 12pm-8pm, Fri 12pm-8pm
