That's why we're introducing the Head of Global Clearing Services product role—a dynamic leadership position responsible for shaping our product strategy and driving the success of our Clearing Services products.

The Head of Global Clearing Services will lead the ongoing transformation of our clearing services, driving innovation and customer-centric solutions in payments services. This role is pivotal in revolutionizing our approach to global clearing, harnessing new technologies and creative strategies to set new benchmarks for this exciting product suite. We're on the hunt for a visionary leader who can challenge the status quo and spearhead initiatives that boost our capabilities, drive greater payments transparency and efficiency, and deliver great outcomes for our Clearing Services customers.

As the Head of Global Clearing Services, you will:

• Shape the Vision: Define and drive our Clearing Services product vision, ensuring our offerings are purposeful and impactful for our customers.
• Lead the Charge: Spearhead our Clearing Services product, executing our Future of Clearing Strategy and Roadmap with innovation and agility.
• Drive the Business: Support our customer-facing teams in portfolio management and pricing strategy, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.
• Be the Face: Engage with our Financial Institution customers and represent ANZ’s Clearing Product at industry level, showcasing our leadership and expertise.
• Stay Risk-Ready: Oversee and manage our Clearing Services product, focusing on governance, policy, and risk management to keep us on track.

• Payments Expertise: You bring extensive knowledge and experience in the payments industry, with a proven track record of delivering successful payment solutions and innovations.
• Risk Management Savvy: You're a pro at risk management, governance, policy, and compliance, keeping us secure and resilient.
• Strategic Vision: You have a knack for defining and executing innovative product strategies that truly resonate with customers.
• Innovative Spirit: You love thinking differently and challenging the status quo, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and continuous improvement.
• Communication Excellence: Your top-notch verbal and written communication skills allow you to clearly and persuasively convey complex concepts.
• Industry Presence: You have an established profile in the industry, with a strong network and a reputation for thought leadership and innovation. You are recognized as a key player and influencer.

The ‘good to have’ knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are: 

• Digital Assets and Tokenisation: You have a solid understanding of digital assets and tokenisation, and how these emerging technologies can be leveraged to enhance our clearing services, streamlining wholesale liquidity and treasury management.
• Customer Engagement: You have experience in and excel at building and maintaining stellar relationships with Financial Institutions and industry partners.
• Analytical Insight: Your strong analytical and problem-solving abilities help you make data-driven decisions that boost business performance.
• Industry Know-How: You have a deep understanding of the payments landscape in our key markets, including trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
