About the role

Are you an experienced, motivated Gym Manager looking to lead a dynamic fitness team? We're seeking a passionate and driven Gym Manager to join our team at EDENS VILLAGE FITNESS PTY LTD' in Redbank Plains, Queensland. This full-time role will see you oversee the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art gymnasium, ensuring our members receive an exceptional experience.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the overall operations of the gym, including staff scheduling, member service, and facility upkeep

• Develop and implement strategies to drive member engagement, retention, and growth

• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team of fitness instructors and customer service staff

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and industry regulations

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and welcoming gym culture for all members

• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the gym and its offerings

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar Gym Manager or senior fitness management role

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

• Solid understanding of fitness industry trends, programming, and best practices

• Demonstrated success in driving member engagement and retention

• Proficient in financial management and budgeting

• Relevant tertiary qualification in sport, recreation, or business management
