Carnac is looking for a graduate electrical engineer. We are an engineering and design company providing high-quality solutions for minerals and chemical processing industry operational challenges. Alumina, nickel, TiO2, lithium and other critical minerals are in our commodity expertise portfolio.
As a graduate electrical engineer, you will be mentored by highly experienced lead engineers and gain valuable working knowledge about electrical design principles as well as the latest industry practices.
Our ideal candidate has great attention to detail, can provide drafting services including updating drawings from red line markups, and be a highly motivated individual who proactively, purposefully and efficiently completes tasks.
To be a successful candidate you will need to meet these requirements:
A recent graduate with a recognised degree in Electrical Engineering.
Qualified for membership with Engineers Australia and be either an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have a suitable Australian Visa that allows full time work in Australia.
Knowledge of Australian engineering standards and electrical safety regulations and codes.
Familiarity with electrical design principles, power systems, and control systems.
This permanent, full-time role is based at our Perth head office with future site visits expected.
