Key objectives of role:This weekend part-time role offers flexible working hours Friday - Sunday in a beautiful beach side setting in Curl Curl. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in SPP's multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, general practitioners, registered nurses and counsellors. The Medical Officer (GP) is responsible for providing medical treatment for individual inpatient clients at South Pacific Private Hospital, including admission assessments, detox management and ongoing medical evaluation and care. Care for Day Program clients is limited to intervention in medical emergency (code blue) while awaiting transfer to emergency department.
