General Practice/Dermal Registered Nurse

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cosmetics Registered Nurse to join our team at Brunswick Central Medical Centre. This is a part-time position based in our clinic located in Brunswick, VIC 3056. As a Cosmetics Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dermatological care and treatments, and General Practice nursing to our patients.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive skin assessments and developing personalised treatment plans

• Performing a range of dermatological treatments such as skin therapies, chemical peels, and injectables

• Educating patients on skin care, sun protection, and healthy skin habits

• Collaborating with the broader medical team to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures

• Providing support and assistance to GPs and other nursing staff in relation to general nursing duties

• Assist with triage, data management, diagnostic services, networking with other providers, planning & management of patient care and patient advocacy.

• Conduct preventative/screening procedures;

• Manage the clinical environment of the medical centre

• Cold Chain Management

• Infection Control processes

• Chronic Disease Management care

What we're looking for

• Registered Nurse with a valid AHPRA registration

• Registered Nurse or Dermal Therapist qualification with experience in the aesthetic industry

• Minimum 2 years' experience in dermatological or cosmetics nursing or a related field

• Demonstrated expertise in delivering a wide range of non-surgical cosmetic treatments

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients

• Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving abilities

• Commitment to providing the highest standard of patient-centred care

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

• Experience as a general practice nurse will be highly regarded
