Gaming/Bar attendant

About the role

Seeking a talented and enthusiastic Gaming/Bar Attendant to join the vibrant team at the Elizabeth Tavern, a part of the ALH Group. This is a casual position, offering flexible work arrangements. Based in Elizabeth, South Australia, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a fun, safe and enjoyable gaming and bar experience for our patrons.

What you'll be doing

• Providing friendly and attentive customer service to all patrons, ensuring their gaming and bar needs are met
• Accurately operating gaming machines and processing payouts
• Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the gaming and bar areas
• Adhering to all relevant liquor licensing and responsible gambling regulations
• Supporting the team in other duties as required, such as restocking and inventory management

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably within a gaming or bar environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Familiarity with operating gaming machines and point-of-sale systems
• Knowledge of responsible service of alcohol and responsible gambling practices
• A friendly, professional and reliable attitude with a passion for creating a great customer experience
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
