DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES |
1. Dough Preparation and Handling: -Mix and prepare dough from scratch using fresh ingredients. -Knead, mature, cut, mould, and shape dough for various bread and pastry products. -Ensure the quality of raw materials by checking and weighing ingredients.
2. Baking Process Management: -Monitor oven temperatures and adjust baking times to ensure optimal product quality. -Coordinate the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of batches of bread, rolls, and pastries.
3. Equipment and Workplace Maintenance: -Check the cleanliness of equipment and the operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. -Operate machines that roll and mould dough. -Empty, clean, and grease baking trays, tins, and other baking equipment. -Maintain a clean and hygienic working area.
4. Product Quality and Consistency: -Ensure products are baked to high-quality standards, focusing on consistency in appearance and taste. -Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products to maintain high standards.
5. Production Planning and Efficiency: -Plan and follow the daily production schedule, starting from early morning dough preparation. -Optimize the use of equipment and resources to maintain production efficiency.
6. Marketing and Product Innovation: -Participate in the development of new products and recipes, focusing on seasonal and specialty items. -Support marketing initiatives by preparing products for special campaigns and promotional events.
