We are currently seeking suitably qualified and/or experienced Fruit and Vegetable Factory Workers to join our “growing” team on a full time bases in Lindenow.

Task & responsibilities

We are currently seeking suitably qualified and/or experienced Fruit and Vegetable Factory Workers to join our “growing” team on a full time bases in Lindenow.

Responsibilities:

The core responsibilities of the Fruit and Vegetable Factory Worker will include:

  • Operation of temperature-controlled facility to chill fresh and packed produce.
  • Inspection of produce prior to and post packaging to ensure quality parameters are met.
  • Operating machinery to prepare and pack fresh produce.
  • Cleaning and sanitising equipment, plant and facilities.
  • Operation of conveyors and associated packaging plant.
  • Movement of product from packing facility to warehouse and shipping areas.

Qualification & experience

To qualify for further consideration, you will need to demonstrate a solid, relevant, working history and the below skills and attributes:

Skills & Experience:

  • A relevant AQF Cert I or equivalent OR compulsory secondary education (Year 10 minimum).
  • Experience in a packing/fresh produce environment essential. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety requirements and legislation.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute as a valued member of the team.
  • Physically fit for the inherent requirements of the role.
  • Great attitude!
