We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fitter to join our team. The successful applicant will contribute to the efficient assembly, installation, and maintenance of customised facade components. This role is ideal for a technically skilled candidate with leadership experience in fabrication, CNC operation, and process improvement in the cladding industry.
Salary Offers $85,000 plus Superannuation.

Task & responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines and manual tools for the production of façade components.
- Fit, assemble, and install aluminium, steel, and cladding parts according to technical drawings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure product compliance.
- Perform inspections and quality control checks during fabrication and installation.
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot machinery faults.
- Collaborate with engineering and drafting teams to optimise production processes.
- Lead fabrication teams and mentor junior technicians where required.
- Comply with safety regulations and ensure best practices in workshop operations.
Qualification & experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in fabrication, fitting, or CNC machine operations.
- Previous experience in cladding or façade-related work is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read detailed CAD drawings and follow specifications precisely.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills in a team setting.
- Current White Card and full Australian driver's licence preferred.
