Purpose of Role:  You will work in our newly developed workshop located in Mackay, assisting with the dismantling, inspecting, fault finding and rebuilding of slurry pumps. All tooling and training is provided to fulfil the roles.

You will be required to disassemble pumps, carry out individual component assessments, assemble and pressure test pumps. Other duties include light fabrication and machining, spray painting as well as compiling reports using computers/iPads.

·         Monday - Friday roster

·         Consistent overtime available

·         Occasional Shutdown & Site work required

·         Allowances for travel and site work

·         Immediate start available

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

·         Cert III – Mechanical Engineering/Fitting & Turning 

·         High Risk Forklift ticket - preferred

·         Overhead crane & doggers ticket - highly desirable

·         Manual drivers license required
